While some people with road rage honk at the person they’re frustrated with, in this particular road rage incident the suspect took it to another level.

According to the report, on August 8th, “a family’s Cadillac Escalade was shot at around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and River Circle in Canyon Country.”

The vehicle contained a family of four and the shooter was driving a grey Honda Civic.

The motive of the extreme road rage was that the driver of the SUV turned on her windshield washer nozzles, which apparently sprayed the suspect’s new car.

As a result, the suspect puled up alongside the SUV and ordered the woman to roll down the window. After she rolled down the window, the suspect began to yell at her for getting his new car wet. She apologized and rolled up the window.

Seconds later, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired two rounds, hitting the tires of the SUV.

The suspect sped off and continued westbound of Soledad Canyon Road. He was described as a male in his 20-30’s with a goatee.

A vehicle behind the road rage incident captured a video of it.

If you have any information about this incident, please contact Detective Welch at (661) 255-1121 ext. 5131.
