The Paso Robles Police arrested a man for allegedly raping a 16-year-old female on Wednesday.
According PRPD, officers were dispatched at approximately 3:20 a.m. to Twin Cities Community Hospital on the report of a 16-year-old sexual assault victim being treated there.
Officers determined that a sexual assault occurred in an open field area accessed via the 1100 block of Ramada Drive sometime earlier during the overnight hours.
During their investigation, detectives located and arrested Aaron Jacob Duran, 18, of Paso Robles on Thursday around 2 p.m.
Duran was transported and booked to San Luis Obispo County Jail. He was charged with felony forcible rape, felony forcible oral copulation and felony penetration with foreign object.
Duran’s bail was set at $100,000.
Due to the nature of the incident and the age of the victim no further information will be released.
