Home Invasion Suspects Identified, Arrested

25000 block of Pasito Street

SAN BERNARDINO – Two men and a woman, suspects in a home invasion robbery on Friday, were caught by police one day later.

The three suspects – William Albert Hay, 48, Demetrio Quezada, 35, and Susannah Lopez, 35 – all reside in San Bernardino, according to police. Reports are that two men physically attacked the unnamed resident, stealing a large amount of cash and left in the victim’s car.

Police had responded to a residence in the 25000 block of Pasito Street after receiving a report of the home invasion robbery.

Once on the scene, deputies were told the victim had been assaulted by Hay and Quezada, who apparently pushed an old-style television, stereo and speakers onto his body and head.

The two male suspects, along with Lopez, then stole an undisclosed amount of cash, described only as a “large sum” before fleeing.

The male victim, whose identity and age were not disclosed, was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. He was eventually admitted and his condition has not been made known.

One day after the robbery and assault, investigators received leads that identified the three suspects, which led to their arrests.

Quezada and Lopez were located, apparently hiding, in an abandoned movie theater in the city. The two were booked into Central Detention Center, which is located in San Bernardino.

Hay was found in San Bernardino, arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. He is due in San Bernardino Superior Court on Tuesday on three charges, including robbery, assault with intent to do bodily harm and first degree robbery.

Quezada also faces a county court date, facing those same charges on Tuesday, bail set at $200,000.
Lopez meanwhile faces charges of attempted murder, assault with intent to do bodily harm, plus affiliation with a street gang, with her bail set at $1.5 million.
