Hollister Police Seek Safeway Shoplifter

HOLLISTER — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects who are alleged to have stolen $100 worth of vitamins from the Safeway on Tres Pinos Road on February 20th.

A loss prevention officer at the store told police that the suspect left the area in a newer model green van (plate #4LEX800).

Surveillance footage shows the suspect to be approximately in her 40s with brown hair and brown eyes, about 5’4″ and 250 pounds. She was also seen riding a motorized shopping cart while in the store.

Police are asking that anyone with relevant information contact Officer Yamamoto of the Hollister Police Department at (831) 636 – 4330. Those wishing to remain anonymous have the option of calling the WeTip Hotline at 800-87-CRIME.
