Three Arrested in Marijuana Dispensary Theft

OCEANSIDE – Three men were arrested in connection with the strong-arm robbery of a pound of marijuana from two medical marijuana dispensary employees in Oceanside.

Oceanside police said the robbery occurred on December 1 around 8:15 p.m. when two dispensary employees were making a delivery at the 2300 block of Maravilla Way. As the employees were waiting at the door of the residence, they were attacked by three men.

One employee was assaulted with a stun gun and the second employee ran from the scene and was chased down and beaten by the suspects, who stole one pound of marijuana from him. The men then fled the scene in a silver Saturn.

Police responded to the attack and pulled over a vehicle a short time later that matched the description of the silver Saturn. Oceanside police said a field lineup was conducted and the three men were “positively identified as the suspects in the robbery.”

Police arrested Kenneth Jackson, 20, Jermaine Smothers, 21, and Reginald Siluano, 26, in connection with the robbery. All three were booked on charges of suspicion of robbery.
