Police Hunt for Indecent Exposure Suspect

The Paso Robles Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly exposed himself to a female juvenile victim.

According to PRPD, they received a call on Thursday, March 19 around 4:30 p.m. regarding a report of an indecent exposure that occurred approximately twenty minutes earlier in the Albertsons shopping center parking lot at 189 Niblick Road. Police say the caller was the father of the juvenile female victim.

The father told police his daughter was walking alone in the parking lot, when the unknown suspect drove past her twice.

The victim told her father that when the suspect drove by her the second time, she could see the he had his genitals exposed and was masturbating. “The victim was approximately 12-20 feet away from the suspect’s car. She was alone, and there were no witnesses located during our investigation” said PRPD Lieutenant Tim Murphy.

The victim said the suspect did not say anything to her. Officers searched the area for the suspect, but were not able to locate him or his vehicle. Police are reviewing video surveillance of the area.

The victim described the suspect as a white male adult in his late teens or early 20s with dark-colored hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants. He was driving a black or dark-colored two-door passenger car.

According to the victim, the suspect appeared to have been alone in his vehicle when this incident occurred. There have been other incidents similar to this one in Paso Robles in the last few months. “We have no indication that this suspect is related to other similar incidents, however we are exploring all investigative leads,” Murphy said.
