Man Arrested for Possession of Heroin

The Paso Robles Police have a man in custody for possession of heroin.

According to PRPD, they received a call on Sunday around 10:40 p.m. regarding a suspicious vehicle on the 700 block of Tanner Drive. The caller told the dispatcher they observed a male occupant of the vehicle get out of the car and urinate in the caller’s driveway of his home.

Officers arrived on the scene and were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle. They contacted the occupant, whom they identified as Mario Sanchez, Jr., 23, of Templeton.

According to PRPD, officers found approximately one ounce of suspected heroin during the course of the investigation. Officers also located US currency and other drug-sales-related paraphernalia.

Sanchez was placed under arrest without incident for felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and felony transportation of a controlled substance. Sanchez was transported and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
