Roseville PD Needs Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

The Roseville Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred earlier today, according to an official press release.

According to Roseville PD, at about 12:30 pm today, Tuesday, January 6, the Citibank at 1950 Douglas Boulevard in Roseville was robbed. The robber reportedly gave the clerk a note demanding money. The note also reportedly mentioned a weapon, however no weapon was reportedly seen. The robber then took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away on foot.

The robber is described as a male with a darker complexion, or possibly a male wearing dark foundation, of an undetermined race in his late 30s or 40s. He is reportedly 5’5″ tall with a heavy build, and was wearing an Oakland A’s hat, blond wig, and light gray zip-up sweatshirt.

This robbery is reportedly being investigated by the Roseville PD and the FBI. Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any additional information is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916)783-7867, or text a tip to 27463 (“CRIMES”), starting your tip with the word “Roseville”. You can remain anonymous, and could receive a cash reward if the information you provide leads to an arrest.

Update 1/14/15 – Roseville Police announced that Roseville Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of this suspect, who remains wanted after 8 days. Callers to the number above may remain anonymous and still collect the reward.
