Sac Sheriff Needs Help Identifying Burglary Suspects

Detectives from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying male juvenile suspects who they believe are responsible for a rash of home burglaries in the northeast part of Sacramento since late June, and as recently as last weekend, according to an official press release.

According to Sac Sheriff, between the hours of 8 pm and 3 am, residents are often awakened in response to their front doors being broken or other similar method of forced entry. After obtaining recent private surveillance video from a homeowner, detectives reportedly believe the same suspects are responsible for victimizing numerous residents.

The suspects appear to arrive in a dark SUV.

In the video, two suspects — who reportedly appear to be teenagers — can be seen driving up to the home in a dark-colored SUV, then attempting to break into the residence by kicking the front door repeatedly. The surveillance video can be viewed online by clicking here.

Sac Sheriff is asking anyone who can identify these suspects or has information pertaining to this series of home burglaries to contact the Sheriff’s Centralized Investigations Division at 916-874-5115 or Crime Alert at 916-443-HELP.
