“Outlaw” is Arrested Twice in Ten Days

INGLEWOOD, CA—What’s in a name, and how does it divine one’s criminal future?

Brittany Nicole Outlaw, 23, was arrested on Thursday, August 14 and again on Sunday, August 24. Both arrests were made by Inglewood Police Department (IPD).

The August 14 arrest was made at approximately 7:30 a.m. along the 10200 block of South Hawthorne Boulevard in Inglewood. The San Diego resident was picked up for first degree attempted burglary (A459PC) and disorderly conduct: alcohol (647(F)PCALC). During that arrest, the blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman claimed to be unemployed. According to police records, she had no known priors. Bail for the two charges was set at $20,000 for the burglary and $250 for allegedly being drunk in public.

The August 24 arrest took place at approximately 9 p.m. along the 4300 block of Century Boulevard near the Hollywood Inn Express LAX. (LAX is Los Angeles International Airport which is west of the hotel.) She was apprehended for taking a vehicle without owning it (10851(A)VC) and unauthorized possession of hypodermic needles (4140BP). Bail was set at $25,000 for the vehicle charge and $250 for the needles.

One wonders what Outlaw will do next week in Inglewood.

I am glad you did not go into what a drag it is to get arrested once, let alone twice. You maintain excellent authorial distance. The reader can easily imagine it. It matters less sometimes what you write than what you don’t. I don’t sympathize with Outlaw, but the people she burgled.
