According to Sac Sheriff, at about 9:40 pm the evening of Sunday, July 20, deputies responded to the 7400 block of Tierra Way in Fair Oaks after receiving multiple calls of a male being shot during a fight at his residence. Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found a male victim — later identified as Wesley J. Camp, 34 — shot in the upper torso. Medical personnel reportedly arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives reportedly believe the two suspects were invited into the victim’s home Sunday night and attempted to take items within the home that did not belong to them.
