SJPD seek armed robbery suspect

The City of San Jose is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect who used a rifle to rob and injure a customer at a local convince store.

The armed robbery occurred at Clyde’s Liquor’s, on the 1600 Block of North Capitol Ave in San Jose. Police are looking for any information of someone knowing who might be the owner of a newer silver Toyota sedan. The owner of the vehicle used a yellow and black rear paper plate to hide the license plate numbers of the vehicle.

According to Sgt. Heather Randol with the SJPD, “The photographed suspect entered the business and brandished a shotgun. The suspect then struck one of the patrons in the face knocking him to the ground,” Randol said. Video surveillance was used to help identify victims at the scene.
