Roseville PD Makes Number of Arrests in Recent Drug Cases

Officers from the Roseville Police Department have recently been busy, apprehending suspects in a number drug cases in the area, according to their official weekly report.

On Sunday, May 4, at 1:43 pm, an officer reportedly stopped a car on Riverside Avenue near Cirby Way. There were reportedly four people in the vehicle who were reportedly all on probation, and all four were reportedly arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and probation violations.

Those arrested reportedly included Andrew Lee Padilla, 26, of Roseville; Steven Ray Blackwood, 24, of Citrus Heights; Jonathan James Flatt, 22, of Roseville; and Ariel Ashley Angelo, 23, of Sacramento. Flatt was reportedly the driver and was also cited for reckless driving.

The four probationers all had extensive records. Andrew Padilla was arrested back in August 2010 for grand theft, and February 2011 for burglary, conspiracy and drug charges. In 2013 he had three arrests for petty theft, grand theft, and possession of stolen property. He followed that with probation violations in October and January. Jonathan Flatt had several drug related arrests going back to 2011.

Steven Blackwood has a history going back to February 2009 with nine arrests on various drug charges, and one in September 2012 that included giving false information to a police officer, possession of a switch blade, and DUI. Ariel Angelo, who appears to be in a relationship with Blackwood, has a history of drug arrests going back to August of 2012. Both she and Blackwood were arrested together on April 26 this year at her Roseville home, along with four others, on charges of possession and transportation of narcotics, paraphernalia, keeping a place to sell narcotics, and conspiracy.

On Saturday, May 3, Roseville PD officers reportedly investigated suspected drug activity at a house in the 800 block of Cottonwood Drive. Officers reportedly served a search warrant at the home, and found evidence of marijuana sales, as well as firearms and ammunition.

Jason Dean Frei, 40, of Roseville was reportedly arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of firearms, possessing marijuana for sale, and other related charges.

And on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, Roseville PD officers reportedly conducted a probation search of a home in the 800 block of Shearer Street. There officers reportedly found a large amount of stolen financial information, including checks, ID cards, account numbers and other information used in identity theft, as well as counterfeit currency and drugs.

Four suspects were reportedly arrested:

  • Logan Ramon Woods, 39, of Roseville, on suspicion of identity theft, forgery, possessing stolen property, destroying/concealing evidence and possession of methamphetamine
  • Samantha Jean Lohmann, 37, of Sacramento, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine
  • Charlene Leeann Runner, 29, of Rancho Cordova on suspicion of identity theft, forgery, possessing stolen property and child endangerment (her toddler was sleeping in close proximity to marijuana)
  • Jerry Christopher Jensen, 47, of Roseville, on suspicion of keeping a place to sell drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia.
