Three Suspects Arrested in Visalia Home Invasion Robbery

VISALIA – Police arrested a total of three suspects in a Visalia home invasion robbery that happened last Thursday.

The incident happened on April 24 at approximately 10 a.m. in the 1500 block of East Douglas Avenue in east Visalia.

During the investigation, detectives learned that 24-year-old Rakime Jones was involved in the robbery. He was arrested later that night by patrol officers with the Visalia Police Department, authorities said.

Police also identified Michael Cantu, 32, as a possible suspect and served a search warrant at his house in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue in Visalia on Friday. The police department sent in the SWAT team to arrest Cantu.

On Saturday, police identified Christopher Sparks, 26, as the third suspect in the home invasion robbery. An officer spotted Sparks in the area of Locust and Myrtle avenues and took him into custody.

The men were booked on charges of home invasion robbery, terrorist threats and conspiracy. Police believe they were the only suspects in the case.
