San Luis Police officers are searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a female victim last week.
According to SLOPD, a 21-year-old female victim was walking in the area of Mustang Village near Foothill Road on Saturday, April 18 around 10:17 p.m.
The victim told police the suspect came up from behind her and pulled her skirt and underwear down to her knees. It is unknown if the victim was injured during the incident.
The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled toward Foothill when the victim screamed.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic or white male in his 20s. No other description was given.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them as soon as possible.
This was not the first sexual assault that has recently occurred in that area.
