Warrant Nets Meth, Marijuana

The Paso Robles Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) has another man under arrest for drug-related charges.

According to PRPD, SET served a narcotics-related search warrant on a residence last Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The search warrant was served on a house on the 500 block of Oak Street.

During the search police discovered 8.2 gram of methamphetamine, 235 grams of marijuana, scales, indicia of packaging for sales of narcotics, two rifles and $1,700. All was seized by police.

Police arrested Jose Luis Echevarria, 35, of Paso Robles for felony possession of marijuana for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and felony child endangerment .

It is unknown what led the police to obtain a search warrant for  that residence or what the age of the children involved were at the time of press.

This is the fourth narcotics-related arrest made by PRPD in the past 30 days.
