$500K Bail for Drug Dealers

$500K Bail for Drug Dealers

Santa Paula – A major illegal narcotics operation apparently came to a screeching halt on March 25th when Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Stewart Wesley Reid, 53, Michael Ricketts, 54, Brenda Felix, 20, and Cleofas Leon, 24, pursuant to a protracted investigation into their activities throughout Ventura County in recent months.

According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Mike Horne, Reid—a Ventura County resident well known to law enforcement—had been under surveillance for several months pursuant to information developed by VCSD Narcotics Bureau investigators indicating a high level of activity involving the sale of methamphetamine and heroin.

When, in the course of that surveillance which included stakeouts of Reid’s residence, “a vehicle was seen to arrive and detectives observed what appeared to be a narcotics transaction” right before their very eyes, detectives followed the car away from the home and then conducted a traffic stop of the car.  Inside were Felix and Leon, who reported their homes as being in Riverside County.  But far more than their place of domicile interested the detectives, for what truly caught their eye was nearly $30,000 in cash inside the vehicle.

A search of Reid’s residence then ensued under terms of his probationary status.  Inside the home were both Reid and Ricketts…along with 6 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.5 pounds of heroin, and nearly $200,000 in cash.  Apparently unable to convince detectives that they had no knowledge of or use for any of those items, Reid and Ricketts were arrested on the scene and booked into Ventura County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale, as well as upon assorted felony warrants.  As characterized by Horne, “Reid was responsible for the sale of significant quantities of methamphetamine and heroin in several Ventura County communities.”

Felix and Leon were not allowed to make the drive back to Riverside, but were arrested and charged with transportation of methamphetamine and heroin.

All four currently reside in Ventura County Jail with bail set at $500,000 each.

ITS KIND OF FUNNY HOW THE POLICE ONLY REPORTED 30,000 IN CASH IN THE VEHICLE THEY STOPPED BECAUSE THERE WAS 50,000 IN CASH.

Police are suppose to uphold the law, NOT BREAK THE LAW.FOR ONE, IF THESE TWO IN THE CAR WENT THERE ON A DRUG DEAL , AS POLICE STATED IN PLAIN VIEW, DRUGS FOUND IN RESIDENCE MONEY IN THEIR CAR, SOUNDS LIKE THE TWO IN THE CAR SHOULD HAVE THE SALES CHARGES ALONG WITH TRANSPORTING, .HOW DO THE INVESTIGATORS WHO ARE TRAINED AND EDUCATED COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT ONLY COMMON SENSE WOULD TELL YOU THAT REID AND RICKETTS WHERE NOT SEEN DOING A DRUG SALE , BUT MERELY A TRANSACTION WAS SEEN AND I WOULD SAY IF I MADE A SALE I WOULD BE THE ONE LEAVING W THE MONEY LEAVING THE DRUGS BEHIND, SO HOW IS IT THAT THE TWO IN THE CAR WHERE NOT BOOKED ON THE SALES AND TRANSPORTING, AND REID AND RICKETTS FOR POSSESSION ONLY SINCE THEY FOUND DRUGS IN THE RESIDENCE IN WHICH THEY WERE IN, WHICH TO CORRECT THE REPORTS IS NOT MR. Reids residence. The news need to report facts, not Gossip, Gossip is a form of character assassinaton, and the character I would question as criminal are the police, who charged these men based on hearsay, these men made no sale, also they stole money and reported less than there was, they drove the car off in which should of been impounded for evidence, but a police officer took it upon himself to drive it off himself, wow, makes me wonder since these are clearly dishonest and prejudiced officer , since its reported mr. Reid is a well known to the police, if this is not a witch hunt, throw him in water if he floats he’s a witch, is the way they are wanting the system to find these guys guilty.

I think the POLICE OFFICERS AS WELL AS THE DEPT. ARE THE ONES THAT NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR THEIR ILLEGAL ACTIONS. AS CITIZENS, WE NEED TO NOT BE IN FEAR OF BEING TARGETED AND REPORT THE WRONG DOINGS OF DEPTS. AND OFFICERS! AND AS POLICE DEPTS. SHOULD DO THEIR JOB AND UPHOLD THE LAW, PROTECT AND SERVE THE CITIZENS INSTEAD OF PROFILING THEM AND OF COVERING UP THE WRONG DOINGS OF AND PROTECTING “THEIR OWN”!!!

ATTENTION ALL YOU BULLIES WITH BILLY CLUBS & BADGES–YOU PATHETIC PRICKS ON POWER-TRIPS:
I’M NOT HERE TO DEFEND THE SALES OR POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS. I’M TAKING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PUT YOU HYPOCRITES, LIARS, THEIVES & MURDERERS HIDING BEHIND YOUR BADGES & ABUSING YOUR AUTHORITY OVER OTHERS “ON BLAST” & ON NOTICE:
ITS TRUE YOU WILL HELD ACCOUNTABLE ON A MUCH HIGHER STANDARD THAN THOSE NOT IN AUTHORITY OVER OTHERS AND NOTHING YOU DO IN SECRET SHALL REMAIN SO. I HAVE FRONT-ROW SEATS FOR THE DAY GOD TAKES HIS VENGEANCE ON YOU FOR ME & MINE (& ALL THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN VICTIM TO YOUR OPPRESSION & ABUSE & WICKED DECEIT & LIES–EVEN IN OUR COURTS & UNDER THE OATHS OF YOUR BADGE WHICH YOU HAVE DONE SO BLATANTLY BEFORE GOD AS IF YOU ARE EXEMPT FROM HIS LAW.
    LUKE 12:1-3
“They just pretend to be godly. Everything that is secret will be brought out into the open. Everything that is hidden will be uncovered. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight. What you have whispered to someone behind closed doors will be shouted from the rooftops.”
    LUKE 12:41-48
Peter said, “Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?” And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and sensible STEWARD, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when He comes. Truly I say to you that He will put him in charge of all His possessions. But if that slave says in his heart, ‘My master will be a long time in coming,’ and begins to BEAT the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers. And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, MUCH WILL BE REQUIRED; and to whom they entrusted much, OF HIM THEY WILL ASK ALL THE MORE.
On that day I will have just one question: “Was it worth it?!”
And for now just one other thing to say:
See you on YOUR way to hell!!!
    FUPGZ!
