Sac Sheriff Searching for Homicide Suspect

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in a recent homicide case, according to an official press release.

Sac Sheriff is reportedly looking for Dinette Eugene Patterson, 38, in connection to the stabbing death of a male in his early 40s in the 5600 block of Florin Road the evening of Friday, March 7. Officers reportedly responded to the area at 8 pm on March 7 and found the stabbing victim, who was declared deceased at the scene by medical personnel.

According to Sac Sheriff, Patterson is described as a black male, 5’11”, weighing approximately 195 pounds. Patterson is reportedly a long time associate of the man who was killed. The motive for the homicide has reportedly yet to be identified and Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

Patterson had been arrested just a few weeks ago for violations in his post-release supervision related to a change of address.
