Roseville PD Arrests 4 Suspects for Liquor Robberies

The Roseville Police Department recently arrested four individuals — including two minors — for a rash of liquor robberies in the Roseville and Sacramento areas, according to a recent crime bulletin.

Jordan Campbell, 20, of Sacramento, and Malik Gearing, 18, of Sacramento, were both reportedly arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary (entering the stores with the intent to steal) and conspiracy. Two juveniles were also reportedly arrested on the same charges, but handled as juveniles.

According to Roseville PD, on February 17, 2014, at about 10:40pm, a group of young men entered a grocery store in the 5000 block of Foothills Boulevard and reportedly stole several bottles of hard liquor, shoving a store employee out of the way as they fled.

Shortly after midnight, officers from the Sacramento Police Department reportedly stopped the suspects’ vehicle in the Natomas area. Officers reportedly connected them to other recent shoplifts of liquor from stores in Roseville and Sacramento, and reportedly found about $2,500 worth of hard liquor in their vehicle.
