The employee reportedly gave the suspect the drugs, and after which the suspect fled the store on foot. Roseville PD officers reportedly searched the surrounding area and, with the help of citizen witnesses, spotted the suspect entering Saugstad Park. The suspect — who was reportedly holding a bag of stolen drugs — ran and dove into Dry Creek, but then reportedly swam back to shore and surrendered to officers. During his swim back to shore, the suspect dropped the bag of medication into the creek, however, officers were reportedly able to retrieve it.
