Suspect Arrested in Granite Bay Pharmacy Robbery

A suspect has reportedly been arrested in connection to the robbery at a CVS Pharmacy in Granite Bay earlier this month, according to an official press release from the Placer County Sheriff.

Christopher Erik Sullivan, 26, of Roseville was charged with felony robbery. He is in custody at the Placer County Jail and his bail was set for $115,000.

According to the Placer County Sheriff, on January 15, 2014, at 7:28pm a suspect — later identified as Sullivan — entered the CVS Pharmacy located at 8455 Auburn Folsom Road in Granite Bay, approached a cashier and asked for all the money in the register. No weapon was reportedly seen, and the suspect reportedly had both hands in his pocket.

Sullivan reportedly fled the scene on foot. Through evidence collected at the scene, detectives were reportedly able to identify Sullivan, whom they later found was already in custody at the Placer County Jail for felony grand theft he committed in Roseville on January 22, 2014.
