HAWTHORNE, CA—Wherever the wind blows, you may find her—so long as it’s not blowing in court.

Karla Muro, 23, was arrested by Hawthorne police for possession of a controlled substance. She was picked up on Friday, January 10 at about 12:45 a.m. along the 4300 block of Century Blvd in Inglewood.

A Hawthorne police spokesperson would not state why Hawthorne police were deep in Inglewood.

Muro, however, has been around. She has five warrants with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department, one of which is “loitering with the intent to prostitute” and then four “failure[s] to appear.” The prostitution warrant will set her back $30,000 while each of the “failure…” bails were $561.

Long Beach police had a warrant on her for battery ($2,000 bail) and Los Angeles police had issued a “failure to appear” for $560.

It is unknown if the Inglewood resident has calculated how many dates she will have to engage to pay off all the warrants.
