Police Search for Molester

The San Luis Obispo Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile victim.

The victim told police she had been sexually assaulted for the past three years by the suspect. She stated she was first molested at the age of 12 by the suspect who lived in her home as her mother’s boyfriend.

The suspect, Vicente O’Campo, 34, left before police arrived. Police said he fled in a red-over-purple 1993 Jeep Cherokee with a license number of 4VXW 152. Investigators believe O’Campo fled to either the Southern California area or Mexico.

O’Campo is described as a Hispanic male who is 5’ 8” tall weighing about 150 pounds. O’Campo has short black hair and brown eyes.

It is unknown if there are any other victims coming forward or if O’Campo has a history of sexual assault. Anyone with information regarding O’Campo is asked to contact SLOPD.
