Student Assaulted, Robbed of Cell Phone on Berkeley Campus

A 23-year-old UC Berkeley student sustained minor injuries when he was robbed of his cell phone by two males on Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley Monday night, according to campus police.

The student came to the campus police station about 9:27 p.m. and reported being robbed by two suspects, whom he’d met outside a restaurant on Telegraph Avenue, police said in a crime alert today, Tuesday.
