Two Fresno Men Facing Sex Trafficking Charges

FRESNO – Two Fresno men were indicted by a federal grand jury Thursday on charges of sex trafficking a minor, according to federal authorities.

The men, 33-year-old Anthony Andrade and 28-year-old Javier Solis, were arrested in early December for allegedly forcing two teenagers into prostitution. The two girls, ages 15 and 17, were forced to prostitute themselves both in Fresno and San Luis Obispo, according to federal officials.

The prostitution happened in September and October. The 17-year-old, a runaway, was brought home from San Luis Obispo by her mother and told Fresno police about what happened. She also told them that the younger victim was at a motel in San Luis Obispo with the suspects, which led to their arrest. The 15-year-old victim was found by San Luis Obispo police, according to authorities.

Andrade and Solis were indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday on charges of sex trafficking two underage females.
