Alexander Generalao, 19, was arrested Saturday for allegedly burglarizing a Los Angeles area paraplegic man’s home.

The victim, who was inside his Reseda home when the intruder entered at 2:45 in the afternoon, called police from his cell phone. The victim was in bed and could not get to his wheelchair, authorities said. Officers responded while Generalao was still in the home. He was in the process of taking cash and medication, according to investigators. It was reported that the medication was for both the man and his dog.

The victim was not injured. Generalao was booked into the Van Nuys jail on burglary charges.
