Man arrested for bombarding ex with texts

Novato- A Petaluma man is behind bars for allegedly sending over 250 text messages to his ex-girlfriend and her mother.

Martin Prior, 45, was arrested at his home Saturday after the victim, who is 47, complained to police that the messages were threatening.

Prior admitted to officers that he sent the messages, but denied he was trying to threaten his ex.

On Tuesday, he was being held in the Marin County jail on $50,000 bail.
