Man busted for brothel near school, authorities say

Moreno Valley – Riverside police have arrested a Los Angeles man for allegedly running a brothel across the street from an elementary school.

Margarito Gomez

Margarito Valdez Gomez, 46, was booked on suspicion of pimping, operating a brothel and managing a prostitute. He was held on $25,000 bail.

The brothel was allegedly run out of a residential home on Dracaea Avenue, which is across the street from Sunnymead Elementary School.

Neighbors said Gomez’ services were advertised on Craigslist. One neighbor remembered a man getting out of a Porsche and asking where the “massage house” was located.

Investigators are now looking into whether or not any human trafficking cases are connected to the brothel, according to reports.
