Drug Bust in Tehachapi Results in Five Arrests

TEHACHAPI — Five individuals were arrested in a major drug sting in the small rural mountain community of Tehachapi on Tuesday.

Mason Price, 22, Nikole Poczik, 23, Bud Gonzales, 23, Bobby Finklea III, 33, and 44-year-old Kathryn Sadler, all residents of Tehachapi, were arrested on various narcotics related charges and outstanding arrest warrants, and booked into the Kern County Jail.

The arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into possible narcotics trafficking in the area.

According to police, narcotics officers had recently received complaints regarding drug activity at a residence in 20400 Block of Steuber Road in an area near downtown Tehachapi.

On August 13, narcotics officers from the Kern Narcotics Enforcement Team discovered there was a subject living in the area on probation, and after conducting surveillance at the residence, deputies conducted a probation search.

During the search officers said, they located methamphetamine and items indicative of narcotics sales.
