Auburn Woman Arrested after Trespassing and Assaulting Residents

The Auburn Police Department arrested an Auburn woman Saturday afternoon after she broke into a home and began to assault the residents inside.

Officers were dispatched to the home in the 200 block of Lincoln Way to reports of a fight.

The suspect, 26-year-old Amanda Standridge, was arrested after officers arrived at the home.

Police say that Standridge broke into the home and began to fight with a woman inside the home. A male resident attempted to intervene, but was attacked by Standridge and sustained minor injuries.

Standridge also chased the woman down with a knife and went on to break several windows in the home. The woman was able to escape from the home.

Standridge was booked into the Placer County Jail and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, vandalism, and trespassing. Her bail has been set at $25,000.
