FBI Uncover a Cover Up

Eventually They Will Catch You…

Yvonne Baldelli

Brian Karl Brimager, 37 has been arrested upon an official indictment by the Federal Grand Jury in San Diego on Wednesday for charges of obstruction of justice and making false statements to law enforcement officers concerning the death of his former girlfriend Yvonne Baldelli. He was arrested at his Vista home without incident.

Brimager allegedly sent fake e-mails impersonating Yvonne Baldelli and gave false information of her last known whereabouts to authorities. He is charged with allegedly fabricating e-mails to make it appear to Baldelli’s friends and family that she was alive and traveling with another man in Costa Rica.

The indictment states that Brimager and Badelli traveled to Bocas del Toro, Panama, via Los Angeles. They were reported to have rented a room in a hostel on Isla Carenero, a small island reachable by boat only, near Bocas.

The U.S. Attorneys office alleges that Baldelli was physically abused by Brimager and was last seen with him at a restaurant on Nov. 26, 2011.

Brimager allegedly fabricated an elaborate cover up of her death by using her laptop and her ATM card to make it seem as though she was still alive. He is also accused of disposing of a bloody mattress from the hostel that was thrown into the ocean after her laptop had two distinct searches attempting to find ways of removing blood stains from a mattress.

Brimager faces 10 counts of obstruction of justice, one count of false statement to a federal officer and a maximum of 205 years in prison as well as a 2.5 million dollar fine if found guilty of all charges.
