Suspects Caught Minutes After Jewelry Robbery

The three robbery suspects were identified by the victim after robbing him of his gold jewelry on Monday afternoon along San Leandro Boulevard.

Within minutes, staff searched the area looking for the suspects. A member of SLPD’s Crime Suppression Unit observed three men matching the description of the suspects walking on San Leandro Boulevard near the Oakland Border.

The three men were detained and some of the victim’s property was recovered. The victim positively identified the three men as the suspects who were responsible for the robbery. All three suspects were arrested and booked.

They were identified as Odell Jones, 21, of San Leandro, Darryl Hickman, 25, of Oakland and Randolph Harris, 20, of Oakland.
