Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Stabbing Suspect

SANTA MARIA –  Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for attempted murder, relating to a stabbing that occurred at a 7-Eleven earlier this month.

Santa Maria police are searching for a man they believe stabbed two unidentified victims just before 11:30 p.m. on June 7 at the 7-11 in the 1000 block of North Broadway.

Authorities have released surveillance photos from the night of the incident in hopes of someone recognizing the suspect, who is described as being in his mid-30s, heavy-set, Hispanic, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall, with a light complexion, glasses, and goatee.


He was last seen wearing a royal blue Dodgers jacket, black shirt, and khaki pants. According to police, he is considered armed and dangerous.
