Pita Pit in SLO Robbed
The Pita Pit Restaurant in San Luis Obispo was robbed on Friday night.
Pita Pit at 858 Foothill Blvd
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, they received a 911 call regarding a robbery at Pita Pit Restaurant, 858 Foothill Road.
The caller said the robbery had just occurred.
The reporting party said a male subject entered the location, motioned like he had a weapon in his sweatshirt pocket and demanded money from the register.
Witnesses said after receiving the money from the register, the suspect fled the area on foot. Police say no actual weapon was seen and it is unknown if there was a vehicle involved.
It is unknown how much cash was taken and police have not released a description at time of press.
