Man Arrested After Beating Woman With Cane

Police arrested a 52-year-old Rohnert Park man who allegedly beat a woman with a bamboo cane so hard that she was unresponsive when police arrived.

Edward Rosario was arrested Saturday night in the 7400 block of Cristobal Way after receiving a call that a man was beating a woman in the parking lot of the Wine Country RV Park. When police arrived they found the victim passed out. Upon seeing officers, Rosario ran into the park and hid behind a trailer but he was soon apprehended.
