Hoodie Bandit Captured

A man wanted in connection with a string of Sonoma County bank robberies was arrested Tuesday in Santa Rosa.

Sebastian Miranda, 28, was taken into custody in front of the Sonoma County Courthouse after a search that spanned several months and earned him the moniker of “The Hoodie Bandit” for a gray hoodie Miranda always wore during his heists.

The FBI says Miranda is responsible for three bank robberies throughout the county, including a Valentine’s Day robbery of US Bank in Rohnert Park.
