Rocker Tim Lambesis Arrested, Suspected of Hiring Another to Commit Murder

Sheriff’s deputies arrested heavy metal singer Tim Lambesis on Tuesday and charged him with soliciting an undercover detective to kill his wife.

Lambesis—who is the lead singer and co-founder of the heavy metal band “As I lay Dying”—was arrested at 2 p.m. on Vista Way in Oceanside without incident. His estranged wife resides in Encinitas, according to authorities.
