Teen Suspect in Murder of Quinn Boyer to be Tried as an Adult

The 16-year-old arrested in connection to the death of Quinn Boyer is being charged with murder and tried as an adult, Alameda County District Attorney Nancy E. O’Malley announced Thursday.

The suspect, Christian Burton, was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at Wiley Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.

Along with Burton, the district attorney has charged five teens, ages 13 to 15, in juvenile court with multiple felonies in connection to Boyer’s death.
