Man Stabbed to Death by His Son

REDDING – 42-year-old Andre Luera died after being stabbed several times by his 17-year-old son on Thursday morning.

Incident occurred near here on Farm House Road

Police responded to the home on the 5800 block of Farm House Lane in Redding.  It was reported that Luera had ran down the block trying to escape and then returned to the home, where he was found when police arrived.

The suspect was located walking nearby the residence. During a subsequent interview the juvenile confessed to the murder.

He was transported to Shasta County Juvenile Hall and booked for murder.
