Novato Man Booked After Alleged Strangulation

Novato Police arrested 43-year-old Novato resident Grant Wehr Saturday morning after he allegedly strangled another man at a home in the 100 block of Lobo Vista.

Police responded to a report of threats being made in the home at around 10:44 a.m. and officers’ investigation “revealed that Wehr had strangled the victim with a towel. During the strangulation, Wehr repeatedly told the victim that he was going to kill him. Wehr struck the victim in the mouth with his elbow and fled the scene,” NPD reported.
