Stabbing Suspect Arrested

San Luis Obispo sheriff’s deputies have a man in custody after he allegedly stabbed and slashed another man.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded on Sunday to 3205 Clark Valley Road in Los Osos on the report of an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred.

Police say the victim reported he was accosted in his residence by Edward Tolosko, 58, who stabbed and slashed him with a knife.

Apparently this occurred as a result of a long standing feud between the suspect and the victim. Tolosko fled the scene after the attack and was apprehended a short time later by deputies.

Tolosko was arrested and booked into the county jail for burglary and assault with a deadly weapon.

It is unknown what the cause of the dispute is between the suspect and victim nor the condition of the victim at time of press.
