Police Seek Help Finding Stolen Tandem Bike

The San Luis Obispo Police department is seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen tandem bike.

According to SLOPD, they received a report on November 29 regarding the theft of a Santana 15-speed tandem bicycle.

The theft, according to police, occurred on the 100 Block of Santa Rosa Avenue between November 14 and 29.

According to the victim the bike was used a few months ago as a fundraiser for blind athletes when the owner rode with a partner for 260 miles.

The victim says the bike has great sentimental value.

Police say the bike is distinctive and any help locating it and returning it to the victim would be greatly appreciated.

It is unknown how the bike was stolen and how many suspects are involved.
