Police Hunt for Double-Strike Robber

Morro Bay Police are looking for a robbery suspect who they believe struck two businesses in the area.

According to MBPD, a robbery suspect described as a white male between 18 and 25 years of age wearing a bandana to cover his face entered Morro Bay Cigarettes, 640 Quintana Road, and demanded money from the clerk.

According to police, the clerk said the suspect appeared to have a gun tucked in his waistband. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say a suspect with the same description robbed the Cork and Bottle Liquor at 396 Atascadero Road. The suspect had a black bandana covering his face and what appeared to be a gun in his waistband.

Police say he left with about $500 in cash.
