Man stabbed at Heritage Ranch

The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect who allegedly stabbed another man while the two argued at Heritage Ranch.

According to the sheriff’s office, they were called to a residence on Eagle Point Lane about 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. When they arrived, they found one man who had been stabbed several times, and that the suspect had fled the area. The victim was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.

Sheriff’s deputies have since identified the suspect they are searching for in connection with the attack. Billy Benjamin Hernandez, 40 of Atascadero, is being sought for attempted murder. His car was found early today (Friday) in Paso Robles.
