DUI Suspect Crashes Into House

San Luis Obispo police have a woman in custody who allegedly crashed into a residence while intoxicated.

According to SLOPD, officers responded to a report of a traffic accident with a person colliding his or her vehicle into a house at the intersection of Brookpine Drive and Ironbark Street.

SLOPD investigators discovered the suspect, Naomi Brebes, 38, of San Luis Obispo,  had driven her vehicle southbound on Brookpine when she veered off the road and into the side of a house.

According to SLOPD, Brebes and the homeowners were uninjured in the collision.

Investigators say that during their investigation they discovered Brebes was intoxicated.

Brebes was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.

It is not unknown what Brebes’ level of intoxication was nor the amount of damage  incurred as a result of the collision.
