Vallejo man arrested for breaking into homes

Vallejo police reported Tuesday that a man allegedly attempted to get into two homes Monday morning.

A resident spotted Morse in this neighborhood

According to the Vallejo Times Herald, a resident from the unit block of Muirwood Court saw a man climbing into a window of the home at about 9 a.m. on Monday. After realizing there was someone home, however, the suspect fled from the scene.

When police officers arrived in the area, they found that Jeffrey Morse, 55, at Oakwood Avenue and Springs Road, met the description of the witness. After an investigation was made in the area, police found that Morse also allegedly tried to enter another home located on the 300 block of Corkwood Street before breaking into the home on Muirwood Court.

According to the Vallejo Times Herald, residents of both homes identified Morse as the man that broke into their homes. Morse was arrested and booked into Solano County jail.
