Teenager Sexually Assaulted in San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo – Police officers are searching for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl on Tuesday.

Police say the incident occurred during the afternoon the 1400 block of Marsh Street. According to SLOPD, they received a call from a minor female victim who said she was walking near a business complex when an unknown assailant grabbed her by the throat from the rear.

The victim told police she was dragged toward the train tracks where he sexually assaulted her. Police say the victim was not raped. The victim also told police the suspect demanded her cell phone and fled the area. According to SLOPD, the victim suffered minor physical injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, with a medium build, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police say he was wearing a dark brown T-shirt with a logo on it and baggy blue pants.
