Willy’s Market robbed at gunpoint

Grover Beach police are searching for two suspects who robbed an employee of Willy’s Market on Monday.

According to police, two armed suspects approached a lone employee of Willy’s Market around 7 a.m. as he was attempting to get into his car and leave the store.  Police say the suspects were armed with a knife and handgun.

The victim told officers the suspects demanded money from him and he complied with their demands. The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a white F150 Ford truck 1990 to 2000 model, with a silver toolbox in the bed.  The vehicle was last seen north bound on S. 13th St.

The first suspect is described as a heavy-set male, wearing a black hoodie and black ball cap,  and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, skinny, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

Police are asking anyone with information to please contact Grover Beach Police Department at 473-4511.
