Sac PD Investigates Center Parkway Shooting

The Sacramento Police Department (SPD) is currently investigating the shooting death of a 31-year-old male, according a press release issued by SPD on March 13. According to the release, on Monday, March 12 at 11:01 am, SPD officers were called to the 7600block of Center Parkway on an argument that had escalated to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers reportedly discovered the victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso, and he was declared deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene, and detectives are reportedly actively investigating the circumstances that led to this homicide.

The release says they have yet to identify a suspect or motive, but they do believe the victim and one or more suspects knew one another and that an argument began between them, and at some point the victim was shot, ultimately dying from his injuries.
