Police search for suspect in shooting at Vacaville bar

Vacaville police are searching for a man that fired a gun at a bar located on East Monte Vista Avenue on Saturday night.

According to the Daily Republic, the man and others with him were asked to leave the bar, called Str8 Shooters at 12:50 a.m. when an altercation occurred. The man then pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun, firing the gun at a crowd.

Though bullets struck a car and a wall within the bar, no one was reported injured during the incident.

The suspect was last seen fleeing down an alley that led to Callen Street. He is described as a black man, between 25 to 28 years old, a slim build and around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was reported to have been wearing a plaid hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black hat, according to the Daily Republic.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Officer Andrew Yetter at 707-449-5200.
